Supporting MCC

What is Fidelias?

Fidelias means faithful. Being first formed in the 1950s, Fidelias continues to be an active social group, working together to quilt, knot, and donate comforters to MCC or locally.

We take a break from knotting for a bag lunch. After lunch, we share in devotionals to refresh our spiritual lives.
We have brief discussion of our on-going missions work, and collect an offering for supplies.

Last year, MCC shipped 39,616 comforters to communities in Canada, Malawi, Palestine (Gaza), Ukraine, the U.S. (including Puerto Rico) and Zambia.

THE JOURNEY
OF A COMFORTER

MCC believes that sharing supplies like kits and comforters is an important way to communicate compassion and care for people across the globe, fulfilling Chirst's command to love our neighbours. Volunteers are a driving force behind MCC's Material Resources program.
